On March 22, 2026, the Gaden Shartse Center for Contemplative Science and Studies was honored to host Emory University alumni Micah Ross, Dylan

Goldberg, and Sasha. Our guests conducted an engaging one-day discussion specifically designed for our four year science students.

Their presentation offered a comparative analysis of the origins of the universe, bridging modern scientific theories with perspectives from diverse ancient

religious traditions. The session was complemented by interactive workshops and a dynamic Q&A, providing our students with a unique opportunity for cross-cultural academic dialogue.

On behalf of the Center, we extend our sincere gratitude to Micah, Dylan, and Sasha for their valuable contribution and for fostering such an insightful environment for our monastics.
